What is Trichology?
Trichology is a specialized field that focuses on the study of hair and scalp health. It involves understanding various conditions and diseases that can affect the hair and scalp, such as hair loss, dandruff, and scalp infections. Trichologists help to determine the cause of hair fall, hair thinning and scalp issues and they recommend appropriate treatments.

CONSULTATIONS
During the initial consultation, Angie assesses your personal and family medical history. She will document information about your family genetics, diet, nutrition, and medications in order to identify the underlying cause of the problem.
​To determine whether you are experiencing hair loss or hair breakage, your hair is carefully examined. ​A digital microscope is utilized to closely inspect your scalp. The results of the examination are displayed on a computer screen in front of you. The microscope provides a 50x zoomed-in view of your scalp. If hair loss is the concern, Angie thoroughly examines for any possible indications. This includes observing patterns of hair loss and checking for any loss of follicles.
